About The Book "Release. Return. Reside."

RELEASE. RETURN. RESIDE.

(THE 3R PRINCIPLE)

You’re exhausted, and you keep stepping up for others, taking care of problems, thinking ahead, and trying to hold everything together. You give your time, your energy, and your attention even when you’re already tired inside.

After a while, this kind of living starts to feel normal. You stop noticing how heavy it is because you’ve been in that mode for so long. But no, inside you, your body is calling for help, and your mind feels like it is on the verge of collapsing every day.

You don’t need to live like that.

My book "Release. Return. Reside." (The 3R Principle) was created for this exact place in your life. It introduces a simple 3R Principle — Release, Return, Reside — that helps you put down your burdens, come back to yourself in a steady way, and slowly feel more settled and grounded in your own peace again.

About The Book "Madness or Masterpiece"

MADNESS OR MASTERPIECE

In a world this broken, who’s actually sane?

What if the world you call “normal” could only be understood by looking at it through a mind you’ve been taught to dismiss?

Madness or Masterpiece invites you into a rare perspective: seeing ordinary life through the lens of a mind labeled insane — not as spectacle, not as metaphor, but as a different way reality organizes itself. Through intimate conversations between a patient, a visitor, and a doctor, the familiar world is gently turned, examined, and returned to you altered.

From this vantage point, everyday assumptions begin to loosen. Time no longer moves cleanly forward. Meaning no longer behaves predictably. The boundaries between insight and illness, clarity and distortion, start to blur in ways that feel both unsettling and strangely precise.

This is a daring, one-of-a-kind experiment: part novel, part self-help book that challenges your assumptions of the world you live in

By seeing the “sane” world through an altered mind, the book reveals how fragile our usual sense of reality is — and how much of what we call stability is simply familiarity. What emerges is not chaos, but insight: moments of clarity that arise precisely because the usual order has been disturbed.

Some books change how you think.
This one changes how you see.

[ABOUT DOCTOR STIK'S BOOKS]

What Makes My Books Unique ?

COURSE

My books are not written from a distance. They are written from both my professional training and lived experience – from years of observing, studying, and personally moving through the same psychological patterns that many people struggle with today.

As a medical doctor and neurosurgeon, my work has always been rooted in science: the brain, the nervous system, behaviour, and the deep connection between mind and body. But over time, I began to notice something that purely clinical models often miss: people do not only suffer because of what is happening to them, but because of the internal loops they become trapped in while trying to cope with life.

Over years of working in medicine, psychology, and Buddhist study, I found myself drawn to a simple question: why do people from all walks of life still feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves, even when nothing is “wrong” on the surface?

The answer did not come from one field alone. It came from many: neuroscience, clinical psychology, meditation practice, patient stories, and long conversations with many different people. Slowly, a clearer pattern began to emerge: most suffering is not random, but cyclical.

That understanding became the foundation of my work, and eventually formed the 3R Principle:
Release what you are carrying that no longer belongs to you
Return to your own inner truth and natural state of being
Reside in a steadier, more grounded way of living

My book Madness or Masterpiece carries this exploration in a different form. It invites you into a new way of seeing life through the lens of a “madman,” and what you may find is both unsettling and fascinating. What we call “normal” may not always be as stable or absolute as we think, and what we label as “madness” may hold unexpected clarity. Sometimes, it is valuable to gently question our own assumptions and revisit where our ideas of reality actually come from.

What makes my books different is not only the ideas, but the way they are delivered.

They are not written to instruct from above, but to meet you where you are. They combine science with lived human experience and contemplative insight, structured understanding with emotional honesty, and practical reflection with a calm, grounded voice that never asks you to become someone else.

Some books explore psychological patterns through real-life narrative and shifts in perspective. Others offer simple frameworks that can be applied in daily life without needing to “fix” yourself first. Across all of them, the intention remains the same: to help you see your experience more clearly, so you can relate to yourself with less pressure and more understanding.

This is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It is about returning to a version of yourself that feels more real, more steady, and more at home within your own life.

And that is the heart of everything I write.

TEAM

I’m Doctor Stik, the pen name I write under — though in daily life, I’m Anh Nguyen, a medical doctor (M.D.), a neurosurgeon and former Director at the Institute for Applied Psychology, Psychiatry, and Neuroscience (IPPN). My work sits at the meeting point of medical science, clinical psychology, numerology and Buddhist contemplative practice, and my mission is simple: to help people understand and break the psychological loops that keep them exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves.

This book is the guide I wish someone had handed me when I was lost in my own exhaustion. And now, I want to hand it to you…
